Look Back.
Week one.
Two days in. What I said I’d do, what I did.
Thursday and Friday.
Thu: “keep calisthenics in mind for tonight.”
Fri, 5pm: “Today that’s completing a gym visit.”
Thu: no calisthenics.
Fri: Friday Night Firefight, 9:56–10:55pm, six lifts. 2.8 miles walked to and from the train.
Thu, 10:15am: “sunrise/sunset is our feeding (FEED) -ing schedule.”
Kept it both days, and since.
Fri, before the gym: FEED, a protein bar, caffeine and creatine.
Fri: “This ends in a complete dissertation and March defense.”
No dissertation writing either day. The October 19 status report stands.
Saturday and Sunday are planning days: Strategy Saturday, then the Sunday session that sets the week. They aren’t counted.
*Two days on the record. Fuel held both. Run moved once: Friday’s line at 5pm was “completing a gym visit,” and the last deadlift set was logged at 10:55pm. Write didn’t move. Thursday’s gate was a shower, getting dressed, and the walk to Wawa; none of it happened.
How’d I do?
Thursday we started in emergency mode, so nothing got done done except worry.
Friday was tough, fighting anxiety, but I made it with a lot of self-coaching and “completing the next thing.” Good workout; next time I’ll take an earlier train. I felt good about the pre-workout meal sitch.
I kept and have been keeping sunrise/sunset even when uncomfortable. That’s one thing I’ll stick to.
